Seth went on his first Klondike scout campout the first weekend in February and Aaron was able to go with him. It was pretty cold but they kept warm and enjoyed the weekend.

Fun weekend of Skiing

The kids had Friday off just over a week ago and it just happened to be the Friday that Aaron worked half day so we picked up Aubry from school (she didn't have the day off), and headed up to Bogus to ski. Seth is on the Ski Team at school and his races are on Saturday mornings so for fun we stayed in a hotel in Boise Friday evening so we would be that much closer when we went back up Saturday morning. Les and Sheryle offered to keep Elizabeth for us which turned out to be great and gave us the chance to ski more instead of taking turns sitting with her in the lodge and trying to keep her happy. Anna is officially a skier now and is comfortable skiing by herself and even tried to convince me, when I wanted to take a break and sit in the lodge because of a headache, that I could go sit in the lodge and she would be fine on her own. She wanted to try the steeper side of the mountain on the bunny hill and crashed a few times but didn't let that stop her. I was terrified going down and only crashed once. I had a worse crash on a very easy part of the mountain and got a nasty bruise.
We had fun swimming and soaking in the hot tub at the hotel and enjoyed watching Despicable Me while eating popcorn and soda.
Skiing on Saturday was better than Friday as far as the weather was concerned though the lines were longer and there were a ton of people. Friday evening it was snowing and windy so when the snow hit your face it felt like ice poking you. I was really wanting some goggles and bought some Saturday morning before going up to ski. Next year we will start teaching Elizabeth to ski so she can join in on the fun.
Seth and Luke were never around when the camera was out so they didn't get their picture taken.

Enjoying some fun in the water!

Elizabeth

I was in Target the other day and found matching swimming suits for Anna and Elizabeth that were too cute for me to pass up. I let the girls try them on later that day and for some reason for Lizzy this meant that she was going to go swimming right then so when it was time to take them off and get ready for be she threw a fit. I calmed her down by promising her that the next day she could go swimming in my bathtub and wear her swimming suit. First thing the next day as soon as she woke up she reminded me that she was going to so swimming. I told her to go get her suit and she picked a suit she wore last year, anyway she played in my tub for the longest time.

Her reaction to me draining the tub and telling her it was time to get out, even though the water was freezing.

New Calling

A couple weeks a ago I was released from the Primary Presidency and was asked to serve as the Young Women Personal Progress Leader. I love being in primary and I am going to miss it very much. I am also sure that I will love being in Young Womens and I am grateful for the opportunity. Yesterday the old primary presidency was asked to come to the primary room 5 minutes before church ended. We were surprised with paper hearts full of thank you notes from the children. The hearts were covering a pizza box which contained a huge heart cookie. The children also sang a song for us and then after the prayer several came up to give us hugs. Needless to say I sure did feel special and they brought a tear to my eyes. We have the biggest primary in the stake and each child is so special children. I love them all so very dearly!

Did I mention the cookie was delicious and my family enjoyed sharing it with me!

Luke's Birthday

Elizabeth helped blow out the candles and Luke was a good sport about it.

Special jar of snacks/candy from Grandma GG and Grandpa Roger

Opening my gift from my family. My friend came over and joined us for dinner and cake, he was equally as excited as I was.

Another great birthday. We sure do love Luke!

Sunday after Christmas

I like to have my kids match the Sunday after Christmas and I'm thrilled that my kids will still wear their matching clothes without any complaint! Aren't they adorable!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas and loved having the the kids home for two weeks. Christmas Eve day we went up to Bogus to ski and took turns watching Elizabeth in the lodge. Seth was kind enough to take Anna up on the Coach lift and while getting off the lift he didn't have a good hold of her and she took off down the mountain. I kept hollering at her to "pizza" and Seth and I both tried to catch her but she eventually stopped on her own and was sobbing. She agreed to go down a few more times and on her last run she had a smile on her face so wasn't traumatized by the event. Christmas morning we got up just before 7. Elizabeth wasn't too excited about the presents she received, the excitement for her was opening the presents and she didn't care whether the present was hers or belonged to someone else. Here are a few pictures, I need to be better about taking more pictures.

Legos are always sure to please these warner boys!

Now Aubry can keep her earrings and other jewelry organized.

Seth and Luke both got remote control helicopters and they are really good at flying them so far.

Anna's reaction to opening the one thing she wanted most, black boots.

This was pretty much her reaction to all her gifts!

Having fun playing the Wii
