The kids had Friday off just over a week ago and it just happened to be the Friday that Aaron worked half day so we picked up Aubry from school (she didn't have the day off), and headed up to Bogus to ski. Seth is on the Ski Team at school and his races are on Saturday mornings so for fun we stayed in a hotel in Boise Friday evening so we would be that much closer when we went back up Saturday morning. Les and Sheryle offered to keep Elizabeth for us which turned out to be great and gave us the chance to ski more instead of taking turns sitting with her in the lodge and trying to keep her happy. Anna is officially a skier now and is comfortable skiing by herself and even tried to convince me, when I wanted to take a break and sit in the lodge because of a headache, that I could go sit in the lodge and she would be fine on her own. She wanted to try the steeper side of the mountain on the bunny hill and crashed a few times but didn't let that stop her. I was terrified going down and only crashed once. I had a worse crash on a very easy part of the mountain and got a nasty bruise.
We had fun swimming and soaking in the hot tub at the hotel and enjoyed watching Despicable Me while eating popcorn and soda.
Skiing on Saturday was better than Friday as far as the weather was concerned though the lines were longer and there were a ton of people. Friday evening it was snowing and windy so when the snow hit your face it felt like ice poking you. I was really wanting some goggles and bought some Saturday morning before going up to ski. Next year we will start teaching Elizabeth to ski so she can join in on the fun.
Seth and Luke were never around when the camera was out so they didn't get their picture taken.

I haven't looked at your blog in so long! I loved all the updates and was cracking up at Elizabeth in the bath tub and on Christmas...so hilarious. That is so fun you all went skiing together. We miss you!
I love it! Skiing is a lot of fun. It's so nice when the kids are old enough to ski and the family can all do something fun together!!! Ewan was on the ski team this year and he really enjoyed it until he got that concussion and had to miss the big race.
