Anna was baptized September 1. We had lots of family and friends join us for this special occasion and enjoyed the food, swimming, and visiting afterwards. I made Anna's dress and was very pleased with how it turned out, Anna actually insisted I make her dress since I made Aubry's. Aunt Mary took all of these beautiful pictures, it's great having a professional photographer in the family!
Aubry and Seth are both on the High School Swim Team. Here they are with some of their team mates, they all swim on the Summer Emmett Swim Team as well!
September 18th, Aubry and Seth both qualified for state in the breaststroke!
Celebrating by getting frozen yogurt at Aspen Leaf!
Seth at Youth Day Camp. He went up the night before with all the scouts, enjoying so time at the hot springs. No he didn't skinny dip! :)
Anna happy with her new glasses!
The night before the BYU vs. BSU game we attended a fireside with some of the BYU football players and Coach Mendenhall. The guys were happy to get a picture with one of the players.
Aubry and Seth came with Aaron and I to the game. Neither team played very good and BSU ended up winning. Aaron got some interesting looks wearing a BSU shirt with a BYU hat! We always cheer for BSU unless they are playing BYU! We love the excitement of being at the football games!
I love September because that means it's almost time for the Saint Luke's Women's Fitness Race. This year was great, we were joined by Aaron's sisters Emily, Amy, and Amber, and sister in law Brooke! Being a part of the pre race party is one of the best parts of the race. You have to get their early enough so you are right in the front but it is so worth it!
Aubry with Caroline Holly, channel 7 news anchor!
After the race, do we look tired? We are, we all ran the entire race or at least most of it!
At the end of the month I went to Portland with Aaron. He was there for continuing education and I was there to shop and play! It was a great weekend. Our kids stayed with some friends and didn't miss us too much! We went to the coast after Aaron finished his classes on friday afternoon. The water was freezing and it was foggy but we enjoyed it anyway.
enjoying yummy ice cream before heading down to the beach!
We took this picture before going on a 2 hr hike down to the beach! The signs warned that it was not an easy hike and they were right, but so worth it!
on the trail!
at the beach!
We also went to the Portland Temple while we were there, it is so beautiful!
