Visit to the cardiologist

It's been 3 years since Aubry had her last surgery so was due for a checkup and Luke's Dr. requested an echo on his heart to see how it is handling the high blood pressure medicine and healing from his having high blood pressure. So I scheduled them both and we went yesterday. Luke's heart looks great so we are very pleased with that. Sometimes I wish he could have just had the same thing as Aubry that was somewhat of an easy fix but I am grateful that there is medicine that he can take to help him, even if it means taking it for the rest of his life. There could be worse things right? Aubry's heart looks good, her aorta artery is the shape of a question mark instead of a candy cane but the stint that was put in is doing it's job and all is well. The Dr. would like her to have another surgery in the next couple of years to try and enlarge it since she has grown and the area around the stint is larger. What a blessing modern medicine is and amazing what they can do!
