Christmas Goodies and Gingerbread Houses!

We love to dip pretzels in melted vanilla chips, and we also love to eat them!

This is our first year a making gingerbread houses, sad I know! Getting the house together and having it stay was a pain but once it was together and frosting dried the kids had a blast decorating it! I think they used enough candy. Also they enjoyed eating the candy off the gingerbread houses throughout the month, nasty, but they like it!

Anna and her cousin Tessa decorated the girls gingerbread house!

Seth and Luke decorated the boys gingerbread house!

This is the boys gingerbread house, very colorful with lots of candy. Somehow I missed getting a final picture of the girls but it also was very colorful and fun!

Visiting Grandma Leah

We visited Grandma Leah with Trent and Brooke and their family. We enjoyed visiting, singing Christmas songs, and hearing the kids play their Christmas songs on the piano. We love Grandma Leah!!!!

Crazy Christmas Dinner!

Our kids absolutely love our crazy dinner we have every year with our friends the Bruneel Family! The kids get their own menu with Christmas words and they have to choose so many items per course, example "Bows of Holly" which we used to represent the salad. It's crazy because you can get your salad without your dressing and other items that don't go together but they do get lucky and choose the right ones sometimes. This year we did pizza and had several toppings so it was interesting what courses they were served from what they chose. The adults are the waiters and like it that way so they get their food in the order that it is supposed to be in! Love it, good times!

Getting to visit with Santa!

Elizabeth thought for sure Santa was going to bring her a Panda Pillow Pet tonight, a little disappointed but more excited for Christmas day to come! I guess Aubry and Seth have officially outgrown sitting on Santa's lap! :)

Decorating the Christmas Tree 2011

This year we decided that I would put the tree together and get the lights on and then as a family we would decorate it for family night. It was great and didn't take as long as it usually does.

Lizzy got her turn to put the star on the tree this year.

The kids were excited to put on the new ornament we got on our cruise earlier this year, it was the Freedom of the Seas Cruise Ship!
