HOORAY FOR HALLOWEEN!

Our fun pumpkins, Elizabeth's is the moon and stars, Luke's is the Clone Trooper (of course), Aubry's is the pumpkin with the big mouth, Anna's is the other pumpkin with the face, and I'm sure you can guess which one is Seth's. Aubry was not in this picture because she left with some of her friends for the evening after we went to the trunk-r-treat!
The whole gang!

Princess Belle

Commander Cody

Red Witch

Captain Rex

Purple Witch
We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! We sure did! Too much candy but everyone is smiling and happy!

Aubry's first choir performance

Now that Aubry is in 6th grade she is taking Choir and had her first of four performances this week. She loves to sing and enjoyed performing and we enjoyed listening. Doesn't she look great in her Choir attire?

Frogger

Elizabeth has been mobile for almost two months now and just gets faster. We still laugh because she looks like a frog hopping here and there. I wanted to let you all see how she gets around before she starts crawling. She also started pulling herself up to standing last week. At night when she wakes up and cries I now find her standing up in her crib. Now we have to keep a constant eye on her because she is so fast and puts everything in her mouth!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I got this fun idea from Mary, thanks Mary, it was so fun!

Pheasant Hunters!

Aaron took Seth and Luke (and Max) pheasant hunting this past weekend with Rodney and Troy! From what I heard they had a great time! Rodney and Troy each got a pheasant!

Miss Anna, our little performer!

Here is Anna singing her new favorite song, "Pocket full of Sunshine" She continues to ask us when she can start taking dance.

Her Halloween costume has surprised us because she's all about being a princess and wearing pink. She wants to be a witch wearing a black and purple dress and have a green face with purple hair! I have the pattern and fabric, now I just need to take the time to sew it. The other day I asked Anna when we were going to start working on her costume to see if she would get excited and I didn't get the reaction I had hoped for. Her reply was "That's not my problem!" I couldn't believe what I had just heard and thought where in the world did she hear that! A few days after she said that she was complaining about something and I simply replied with a "That's not my problem!" Needless to say she was not happy about me saying that to her so we had a little chat about nice things to say to each other! The children were in the Primary Program this past Sunday. Anna was in front of the pulpet sitting on a riser with the other sunbeams. When it came time to sing they would stand up on the riser so the audience could see them better. She did pretty good singing all the songs except for a couple. I was sitting in the front row with some other teachers facing the sunbeams to help try and keep them reverent. Anyway about half way through the program she said she was tired of sitting there and wanted to be done and I told her she would have to stay a little longer so she started pouting and folded her arms with a frown on her face during the next song. During one of the last songs she started clapping and again when I shook my head at her and said "no" she once again started pouting by frowning and folding her arms. She is pretty good at doing that and seems to be full of drama. It was actually quite comical and I tried not laughing!

Goofy Boys

So I've been going through photos and video on the computer and found some that made me laugh so I thought I would share. Seth and Luke sure know how to be silly, have a good time, and continue to keep us laughing! Hopefully they won't be too mad and me posting these!

The pictures were taken in November of 2006 and the video in June of 2007

Going on a field trip with Luke!

I got to go with Luke and his class on a field trip to the Meridian AG Expo! FFA high school students from the area were at Meridian High! We learned about farm animals, equipment, foods, etc. It was great! We got to go into a trailer that had several animals that were stuffed. Luke's favorite was the alligator and elephant skin.

Favorite place to clilmb!

A couple weeks ago Elizabeth discovered a new place she can climb onto and of course when she's done she cries until someone comes to her rescue. She isn't crawling yet but can move pretty fast to get whatever is in her site. She lookes like a little frog because she gets up on her hands and knees and then lunges forward. I was not and I'm still not ready for her to be so mobile!
