Mittens and Mufasa

In April of 2014 we got our first kitten.  We got her from Aaron's brother Troy and named her Mittens because of her white paws.  I never thought I would like having a cat but surprisingly enough I did, in fact everyone in our family did.  Seth was strongly against getting a cat at first but was often seen holding Mittens and was heard saying, "come here, I just want to love you!"  Mittens got plenty of love.  She had to get used to Max, our yellow lab, and would hiss when he came near her but over time they became friends.

Two months later we got another kitten from Aaron's other brother, Trent, and named him Mufasa!  We enjoyed watching them play and because Mufasa was born around dogs he was not afraid of Max, which was nice!
Lizzy is an animal lover and as you can see was in heaven having two kittens to love and play with.

In December we lost Mittens to an accident and it broke our hearts!  We buried her in our yard and Lizzy frequently goes to that spot to visit her.

Presidents Weekend

President's Weekend we went to McCall with our friends, the Bruneel family.  We enjoyed a weekend of fun, food, games, movies, playing in the snow, seeing the ice sculptures, skiing, and hot springs!  Good times and fun memories!

Aaron and Lizzy

January 2014

Luke turned 12 on the 3rd.  He loved breakfast in bed and received some great gifts.  He was excited about the new camping sleeping bag and pad, now that he will be camping regularly with his scout troop.

First trip to Bogus this year!  Anna is doing great, Lizzy needs work but it will come with practice.

These are two very silly girls discovering new things to do that keep them entertained and laughing.

Luke was ordained a Deacon and now has the Aaronic Priesthood and new responsibilities to perform in his quorum.  It is wonderful seeing him pass the sacrament on Sunday!  He is a wonderful son and we love him dearly and are proud of the great young man he is becoming!

Look out!  We have a new driver in the family!  Happy day for Seth, he is a great driver and we will happily keep him busy.

Lizzy likes coming to work with Michelle, especially when there are doughnuts in the break room!

Christmas Nativity

December 24
We had our friends, the Boer's, over Christmas Eve.  Aubry was put in charge of the Nativity and gladly gave everyone a part.  Aaron was the narrator and the rest of us dressed up.  It was a great evening!  Thanks Shawn, Nathlie, Hayden, Dylan, and Josh for coming over.
